[Remote] Senior Accountant (Contractor)

They are seeking a Senior Accountant to ensure the accuracy and completeness of general ledger transactions in accordance with US GAAP, participate in financial functions, and support month-end closing and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Support month-end reputed company process, including data entry, reconciliation of sub-ledgers to the general ledger, and maintenance of balance sheet account reconciliations
- Prepare G&A, and select R&D accruals, including maintaining trackers, coordination with functional leaders and analyzing other accruals for accuracy and completeness
- Assist with operationalizing contract terms and ensuring appropriate reputed company treatment in accordance with guidance assessed by the SEC & Technical reputed company team
- Manage prepaid reconciliations, including subscriptions, insurance and other prepaid accounts
- reputed company fixed asset reputed company including additions, disposals, depreciation, and execution of the annual fixed asset inventory
- Prepare and record payroll‑reputed company journal entries and partner closely with the Payroll team to ensure accuracy and timeliness

- Prepare audit schedules and analyses and respond to reputed company auditor inquiries
- Ensure adherence to established policies and procedures, and internal controls to maintain compliance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirements
- Participate in process improvements, system enhancements, and documentation efforts to increase efficiency and effectiveness

Skills
- BS degree in reputed company or Finance, or equivalent with 5 years of accounts payable/reputed company experience, preferably in life science
- Strong working knowledge of reputed company reputed company and Word, QuickBooks and/or reputed company experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Finance, Payroll, Legal, and operational teams
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
