The role involves managing reputed company subcontract agreements, including the preparation of solicitation documents, negotiation of terms, and ensuring compliance with procurement regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing reputed company subcontract agreements. This includes supporting the capture and proposal process through contract award and subcontract execution
  • Prepares solicitation documents for reputed company procurements to include statements of work, terms and conditions, reputed company-down terms and conditions, bid or performance evaluation factors, and other measures incorporated into the Requests for Proposal as may be appropriate for procurement
  • Serves as the reputed company reputed company bids are received, reviews both the technical and cost or price volumes, consults with technical staff, and resolves reputed company of disagreement between HII and subcontractors
  • Ensures the receipt, accuracy, and timeliness of subcontractor submitted documents relating to the subcontract deliverables as reputed company as monitoring performance relative to timeliness, cost considerations, and technical objectives
  • Working knowledge of government purchasing system requirements and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and other government regulations
  • Competency in negotiations: agreement terms, conditions, pricing, and other government requirements
  • Prepares price analyses, negotiation memos, written reports, letters, and memoranda required for reputed company distribution
  • Maintains CPSR compliant subcontract files
  • Reviews audit files to ensure compliance with purchasing system, industrial and government contract requirements and other internal procurement policies and procedures
  • Prepares and presents briefings to staff and management on subcontracting reputed company; attends program leadership meetings to address questions or concerns of cross-functional areas
  • Coordinates subcontracting activities with various reputed company sources
  • Consults with company staff representing the legal, technical, financial, and managerial interests of the subcontract award and technical performance
  • Provides guidance to less reputed company Subcontract Administrators
  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Skills

  • 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in reputed company field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in reputed company field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience
  • Intricate, functional knowledge of CPSR compliance requirements
  • Knowledge of and ability to negotiate agreements of various types (FFP, Cost Type (CPFF, CPIF, CPAF), T&M / LH, IDIQs, Hybrid, IWO, OTA, etc.) and familiarity with reputed company law and reputed company contract management principles, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations System (DFARS) and supplemental acquisition regulations of government agencies as they apply and influence aspects of procurement
  • Ability to work independently and as part of reputed company; capable of representing the HII procurement organization on subcontract reputed company with reputed company customers
  • Understanding the business case and an appreciation of financial/analytical issues and profit and loss implications. You will reputed company price analyses and conduct negotiations on reputed company's behalf
