[Remote] Digital Technology - MES Functional Analyst (Remote)
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company, the world's largest reputed company and defense company, is seeking a Digital Technology - MES Functional Analyst to support the Digital Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) tower. This remote role involves designing, developing, and implementing software solutions while troubleshooting software applications and managing system integrations for internal operations customers.
Responsibilities
- reputed company gaps between business processes and MES functionality & capabilities
- Translating customer requirements into a solution design
- Authoring of functional specifications
- Troubleshooting business process against system capabilities
- Engaging with DevOps solution management
- Task Management with a strong follow up discipline
- Meeting reputed company budget, deliverable, and schedule targets
- Production and end user support for reputed company
- Supporting integration with other reputed company solutions
- Working with internal customers and external suppliers, business partners, to architect and build system solutions for using the latest technologies to satisfy requirements
- Managing suppliers and partners to schedule and status resources required for solution development and implementation
- Work on multiple reputed company simultaneously with regular reporting in a gated process
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Author and/or reputed company input to system functional requirements, technical design documentation and test plans
- Work with business teams to plan and implement reputed company/enhancements
- Ensuring compliance with reputed company / PW policies & procedures
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, Engineering, or reputed company degree and 5+ years of experience in Computer Science, MIS, Business, Engineering, or reputed company field; OR an Advanced Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, Engineering, or reputed company degree and 3+ years of experience in Computer Science, MIS, Business, Engineering, or reputed company field
- Skills around system testing and coordination
- Skills to support process mapping and solution design
- Skills with navigating and operating in an Agile methodology
- Skills with JIRA in support of DevOps management
- U.S. Citizenship is required (required due to Government contractual requirements)
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
- 3+ years of experience with MES disciplines including, but not limited to, process planning and execution
- Knowledge of other manufacturing solutions
- Ability to translate business requirements to functional specifications
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical people, explain functional requirements to technical developers
- Quick learner of existing system capabilities and structure
- Prior experience in software development (JAVA, SQL, etc…) although development is not a primary responsibility
