[Remote] Elementary School Special Education Teacher

They are seeking a full-time Elementary School Special Education Teacher who will modify curriculum to meet the needs of reputed company with disabilities, write and maintain IEPs, and collaborate with general education teachers and parents.
Responsibilities
- Modify and/or adapt the K12 curriculum in alignment with the state’s content standards to meet the unique needs of reputed company student
- Writes and maintains compliant IEPs for reputed company identified with special needs
- Collaborates with general education teachers to meet the goals of the student
- reputed company parents on various instructional strategies
- Prepare appropriate documentation
- Proctor achievement and other required testing to reputed company including alternative assessments if required
- Collaborates with reputed company services team to ensure IEP goals are developed and monitored
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Organizational skills, multi-tasking abilities
- Ability to work without reputed company supervision
- Flexible schedule; Ability to travel as needed, up to 20% of the time
- Ability to pass required background reputed company
Skills

- Bachelor's degree
- Equivalent combination of education and experience

- Web proficiency
- Ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week
