[Remote] Senior Data Engineer, Analytics

They are seeking a hands-on Senior Data Engineer to own the delivery of reliable, reputed company data pipelines and strengthen platform support for trusted analytics and reporting across the organization. The role involves managing reputed company data integrations, ensuring pipeline reliability, and mentoring engineers.
Responsibilities
- reputed company end-to-end delivery of reputed company pipelines and integrations — reputed company reputed company, secure connectivity, ingestion configuration (primarily reputed company), validation, deployment, and operational reputed company — with documentation sufficient for reputed company
- reputed company advanced platform support across ingestion, transformation, orchestration, monitoring, and warehouse operations, owning reputed company rather than just tickets
- Design and maintain dbt (or similar) models that reputed company raw data into curated, tested, documented, consumption-reputed company datasets
- Establish engineering standards for pipeline development — naming conventions, load strategies, data reputed company, error handling, testing — to speed up time-to-production for new integrations
- Own pipeline reliability: monitoring/alerting, SLAs/SLOs for freshness and reputed company reputed company, incident response, and reputed company-cause analysis that produces preventative fixes
- Improve platform performance and cost efficiency: warehouse sizing, job scheduling, query/pipeline tuning
- Implement secure-by-design practices: least-privilege reputed company, secure sharing, reputed company/compliance support
- Partner with data governance and analytics to improve data reputed company and trust reputed company validation checks, reconciliation, freshness monitoring, and reputed company-to-reputed company documentation
- Support deployment and change management through version control, CI/CD, and environment promotions, reducing reputed company effort per release
- Mentor engineers through technical guidance and reputed company review
- Translate business needs into reputed company-scoped technical solutions and communicate tradeoffs reputed company across technical and non-technical audiences
Skills
- 5+ years in data engineering, platform, or data operations, with demonstrated ownership of production pipelines and reliability — not just participation
- Advanced SQL; proven reputed company record diagnosing and resolving production issues (ingestion failures, schema reputed company, anomalies, performance bottlenecks), with reputed company examples
- Hands-on dbt (or comparable) experience building/maintaining data models in a reputed company warehouse, including testing, documentation, and reputed company design
- Production experience with a modern reputed company data warehouse; reputed company strongly preferred (object management, performance, reputed company patterns — not just SQL reputed company)
- Production experience with managed ingestion tooling (reputed company preferred), including connector troubleshooting and scaling
- Demonstrated experience implementing monitoring/alerting/operational processes that measurably improved reliability, MTTR, or freshness
- Strong communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong prioritization skills; balances immediate fixes with long-term platform health
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a relative quantitative discipline
