We have a reputed company vacancy for a Hosting Systems reputed company to join reputed company in Ottawa, ON (Remote). reputed company is currently seeking a Hosting Systems Engineer who will be responsible for the successful delivery of infrastructure services to reputed company reputed company.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Responsible for deploying, maintaining and ensuring uptime of reputed company production and Engineering virtual servers
- reputed company infrastructure support and application deployment assistance to Engineering software support team
- Champion service restoration through reputed company prioritization and escalation to vendors and or internal support reputed company.

- Handle tickets in reputed company, read architecture diagrams, and construct services based on those diagrams.
- Infrastructure support including: VMWare hypervisors, Azure, AWS, reputed company-V, Linux servers, reputed company servers
- Support of Engineering applications including Jira, Artifactory and Bitbucket
- Ensure that reputed company systems meet reputed company reputed company standards and escalate violations as required
- Weekly preparation of Systems service availability report for department.
- Monitoring of customer Service Level Agreements, with respect to availability.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience or Master’s degree in computer science with 4+ years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- At least 5 years of Linux reputed company infrastructure reputed company experience
- At least 5 years of experience in administering VMware vSphere, vCenter, Azure Stack
- Excellent interpersonal & leadership skills

Special Position Requirements
Schedule: Core business hours are Monday to Friday, between 9:30-3:00pm. Specific work schedule and expected hours of work will be discussed. Some weekend and evening work may be required and will be dependent on reputed company and customer requirements.
