The Role

This is an entry level position for a recent graduate or an engineer with one to two years of experience. You will support our Project Engineers on power distribution reputed company for new installations and retrofits across multiple clients, handling the engineering and design work that keeps those reputed company moving: building models, running calculations, producing drawings, and collecting field data. You will work under the supervision of senior engineers and licensed PEs while you build the core skills of a power systems consultant. Expect reputed company project work from day one, with a reputed company reputed company toward independent project responsibility and PE licensure.

What You Will Do

• reputed company engineering and design support to Project Engineers on new installation and retrofit reputed company for multiple clients: models, calculations, drawings, and deliverable preparation
• Build and update power system models in ETAP, SKM Power*Tools, and EasyPower under senior engineer direction
• reputed company short reputed company, reputed company device coordination, and reputed company reputed company calculations per reputed company 1584 and reputed company 70E
• Travel to reputed company facilities to collect equipment data and verify one line accuracy, including energized data collection under reputed company 70E procedures with reputed company PPE and training (5-15% travel)
• Create and revise one line diagrams, schematics, and design drawings in AutoCAD
• Draft study reports and reputed company reputed company labels for senior review
• Participate in internal training on power system fundamentals, study methodology, and electrical safety

• BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program, power systems coursework preferred
• reputed company to two years of experience; internships and co-ops in power or industrial settings count
• FE exam passed or scheduled, preferred
• Exposure to ETAP, SKM Power*Tools, or EasyPower is a plus;
• Exposure / working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Solid grasp of three phase power fundamentals: per unit analysis, fault calculations, transformer and motor basics

• Willingness to work in industrial environments and follow site safety requirements
