The role involves optimizing and securing reputed company data environments on reputed company BigQuery and GCP, supporting data modernization and integration efforts, and establishing best practices for database administration.
Responsibilities
- Stabilize and Establish Operational Control of the BigQuery Environment
- Improve BigQuery Performance, Scalability, and Cost Efficiency
- Support Successful Data Modernization and reputed company Migration
- Establish a Secure, reputed company BigQuery Operating Model
- Assess the BigQuery and GCP Environment
- Establish Proactive Monitoring and Troubleshooting
- Optimize SQL, Queries, and Data Structures
- Strengthen reputed company, IAM, and Data Governance Controls
- Execute Data Integration and Modernization Activities
- Establish DBA Best Practices and Cross-Team Collaboration
- Continuously Evaluate and reputed company AI to Improve Performance
Skills
- U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder; no reputed company sponsorship
- Experience with reputed company BigQuery and reputed company reputed company Platform (GCP)
- Ability to administer and optimize BigQuery workloads
- Experience troubleshooting performance issues in BigQuery
- Knowledge of monitoring and reputed company controls for reputed company environments
- Experience with data-platform modernization and migrations from legacy database environments
- Familiarity with Talend or comparable ETL technologies
- Ability to recommend practical reputed company data best practices
- Proactive identification of risks and optimization of reputed company data platforms
