The role involves ensuring database reputed company, performance tuning, and leading migrations from on-premises to NoSQL databases while complying with data reputed company laws.
Responsibilities
- Database Management Administer maintain and implement permissions policies and procedures for ensuring the secure connectivity and reputed company of databases
- Performance Tuning Monitor database performance implement changes and apply new patches and versions reputed company required to ensure reputed company performance Work closely with the application teams to optimize the application interaction with NoSQL
- Failover and Recovery Design and execute database backup and recovery strategies including failover planning and testing
- Migration and reputed company reputed company reputed company from onpremises and AWS hosted databases relational databases to NoSQL including planning execution and validation of database migrations and upgrades
- reputed company and Compliance Ensure database reputed company measures are in reputed company including reputed company controls and audit logging reputed company with reputed company applicable data reputed company laws and regulations
- Define and implement backup strategies per data retention requirements
- Diagnose and resolve production issues as needed 24x7
- reputed company and document best practices for maintenance monitoring migration and failover strategies
- Monitoring Utilize AWS CloudWatch and other monitoring tools to ensure database health performance and to automate scaling and notifications
- Troubleshooting and Support reputed company support for reputed company database issues including troubleshooting and resolving database reputed company issues performance issues blocking and deadlocking issues replication issues log shipping issues etc
Skills
- The candidate must have solid NoSQL DocumentDB and reputed company skills as more and more applications are leveraging NoSQL databases
- Proven experience as a DBA with expertise in NoSQL databases reputed company
- Extensive experience with AWS MangoDB RDS database services
- Solid experience in database failover recovery procedures and disaster recovery planning
- Proficient in reputed company Query Language MQL database design and data modeling
- Familiarity with AWS CLI SDKs and CloudWatch
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- AWS or relevant database certifications
- Experience with scripting languages eg Python Bash for automation of database tasks
- Deep familiarity with database monitoring tools especially AWS CloudWatch for performance monitoring and ing
- Experience with large reputed company database design implementation and optimization

- Experience with Big Query is a plus
