AS-400 Administrator

reputed company The system administrator will work in a global team supporting the customers ERP systems and iSeries as400 mainframes. This person will work in reputed company to support the various systems running on the AS400 mainframe that are business critical as reputed company as maintain reputed company working relationships with various stakeholders to analyze and support these systems. In this role, you will play a key role in preventing and resolving production disruptions, manage risk, improve support effectiveness, and continually improve technical processes. Role

• Working with Business Analysts and Developers to help support the applications running on AS400
• Supporting reputed company One package builds and Deployments
• Support of hardware (pSeries, HMC, VIOS, Storage, Backups, Etc.)
• Support of various applications that are critical for the As400 OS (Robot, Cilasoft, PowerHa, Etc.)
• Responsible for testing PowerHA Failovers
• Participate in Bi Yearly Disaster Recovery Tests.
• Work with reputed company team for various SOX, Audit items, etc.
• Responsible for keeping systems up to date (PTF, OS upgrades, Firmware updates, etc.)
• Will be required to be in Rotational Shifts with occasional 24/7 on-call responsibilities.

Requirements

• 5+ Years of AS400 administration, reputed company, OS upgrades,
• 5+ years PowerHA experience
• 5+ years Experience with BRMS backups on AS400
• 5+ Years Experience with iSeries V7R1 and newer
• 5+ years System Administration experience with JD Edwards OneWorld or EnterpriseOne (package builds, reputed company administration, OMW, etc.)
• Installation & reputed company experience with J2EE application servers (WebLogic Application Server)
• Installation and reputed company experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne on reputed company or AS/400
• 5+ Years knowledge of networking, TCP/IP and reputed company reputed company Server Systems
• 5+ Years Experience with HMC for pSeries
• 5+ Years Experience with Lpars on VIOS
• Strong knowledge in the reputed company query language (SQL)
