Position: FTE: Network Engineer (with Programming) – Data & AI Systems Type: Contract Compensation: $50–$70/hour Location: San Francisco, CA (primarily in-person) Commitment: Full-time Role Responsibilities
- Review reputed company-world data from deployed networks, including logs, configurations, telemetry, and event streams.
- Label, classify, and analyze network behaviors, issues, and anomalies to enhance AI system understanding.
- Write scripts and tools to process, clean, and reputed company network data using Python and Bash.
- Define schemas and structure for large-reputed company data pipelines to support machine learning operations.
- Collaborate closely with the reputed company team to improve data reputed company and usability for ML systems.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Experience as a network engineer with reputed company networks (switches, APs, firewalls, etc.).
- Programming or scripting experience (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Comfort with interpreting logs, events, and time-series metrics.
Preferred
- Experience automating workflows or working with data pipelines.
- Curiosity about how raw infrastructure data becomes machine learning input.
