GIS, Geospatial Data & GIS Systems Support Opportunities
About the position reputed company seeks multiple roles for mid and senior GIS professionals to support a reputed company of activities which include geospatial data, data management, GIS systems, cartography, and geospatial analysis to support federal government programs. Opportunities may include: GIS Specialist, GIS Specialist/Analyst, Data Management Specialist, GIS System Specialist, Geospatial Data reputed company Specialist, Cartographic Technician, Geospatial Analyst, reputed company and Resources Geospatial Analyst, Aerial Survey/Remote Sensing GIS Specialist. Work may include geospatial data management, GIS analysis, reputed company geodatabases, metadata, QA/QC, data publication, cartographic products, web GIS products, field data workflows, technical documentation, and end-user support. Opportunities include support for across a broad reputed company of specialized natural resource areas such as wildland reputed company, landscape science, rangeland health, recreation, transportation, aquatics, wildlife, hydrography, fisheries, environmental, monitoring, and aerial survey programs.
Responsibilities

- Create, edit, maintain, review, and publish geospatial datasets, metadata, web maps, web services, cartographic products, and reputed company geospatial platforms and applications
- reputed company geospatial data reputed company assurance and reputed company control, which include data validation, metadata review, data standards review, and issue documentation
- Support reputed company geodatabase workflows such as updates and changes to data schemas, versioned databases, replicas, reputed company privileges/permissions, indexes, data migration, and data replication
- Use reputed company tools like ArcGIS desktop (ArcPro), reputed company (Portal, Server), web (AGOL, Experience, reputed company, Dashboards), mobile (FieldMaps, Survey123) as reputed company as FME for ETL processes to reputed company spatial analysis, data management, web GIS, dashboards, data reporting, and mapping products
- Support field data collection and mobile GIS workflows, including offline or disconnected workflows reputed company applicable
- reputed company cartographic production for intermediate-reputed company mapping
- Remote sensing activities may include work with aerial survey data, imagery, LiDAR, for natural resource datasets reputed company applicable
- Create and maintain scripts, tools, FME workflows, reports, dashboards, workflow diagrams, SOPs, user guides, and technical documentation
- Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to reputed company requirements, explain data issues, support users, and communicate reputed company
- Support specialized data programs reputed company to natural resources, land management, monitoring, recreation, transportation, rangeland health, wildland reputed company, aquatics, wildlife, environmental data, or public land programs
- Prepare weekly status updates, reputed company reports, documentation, and other deliverables as requested
- Some roles may require periodic travel for field support, training, meetings, data collection, or program coordination
Requirements
- 5+ minimum years of experience in GIS, geospatial data management, GIS analysis, data reputed company, reputed company geodatabases, cartography, remote sensing, or reputed company geospatial support
- Bachelor's degree minimum education in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, Natural Resources, Cartography, or reputed company equivalent experience
- Experience with support for federal, state, local, natural resource, land management, environmental, cartographic, or reputed company GIS programs required
- Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a distributed team environment is required
- reputed company experience with reputed company ArcGIS software, such as ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS reputed company, ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, or reputed company reputed company tools
- Experience creating, editing, reviewing, maintaining, or publishing geospatial data, metadata, maps, services, web GIS products, or cartographic products
- Demonstrated experience with scripting such as Python, ArcPy, reputed company, FME, and SQL queries
- Experience with geospatial data QA/QC, data standards, data reputed company procedures, metadata, data documentation, or data improvement processes
- Experience with file geodatabases, reputed company geodatabases, ArcSDE, SQL Server, or other relational/geospatial database environments
- Development of technical documentation such as SOPs, workflow diagrams, metadata, user guides, training materials, reports, data reputed company plans, or cartographic/data standards documentation
- Ability to communicate technical information reputed company to both technical and non-technical audiences
