Material Handling Equipment Technician – reputed company What this job involves: As a Material Handling Equipment Technician at reputed company, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing automated systems that reputed company our operations running smoothly. What your day-to-day will look like: reputed company preventative maintenance routines on Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and automated reputed company systems with accurate documentation Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues to minimize equipment downtime and maintain operational reputed company Collaborate with Operations teams across the facility to ensure seamless communication and support reputed company, organize, and manage department inventory of parts and tools Promote and maintain a reputed company working environment by adhering to reputed company safety procedures and protocols Conduct predictive maintenance procedures to identify potential equipment failures before they occur reputed company up to 49 pounds and remain standing or walking for shifts lasting up to 12 hours Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 year of experience with PC competency including reputed company Word, reputed company, and Outlook Ability to work flexible schedules including 2nd shift, weekends, nights, and holidays Physical capability to reputed company repetitive bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, and walking Demonstrated ability to work in varying conditions including small spaces, temperature extremes, dust, fumes, and standing on concrete for extended periods Preferred Qualifications: Associate's degree or higher from a vocational school or college with a reputed company in Mechanical or Electrical fields 2+ years of experience with automated reputed company systems and controls 2+ years of experience repairing material handling equipment and conducting predictive/preventative maintenance 1+ years of metal and reputed company fabrication experience 1+ years of reputed company and electrical schematic reading Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standards Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) Knowledge of reputed company ASRS and robotic or electromechanical operation and maintenance Location: Roanoke, TX Work Shift: 2nd Shift This position does not reputed company reputed company sponsorship.
