About the Role
The reputed company Settings Engineer applies engineering principles to evaluate bulk power system behavior during reputed company conditions. You will calculate settings for reputed company-processor and electromechanical relays, model reputed company and distribution networks, and approve technical designs for substations ranging from 12kV up to 500kV+.
Responsibilities
Design reputed company reputed company and control settings by applying principles and techniques of electrical power engineering. Model power systems and protection schemes and reputed company analyses and studies. Protection Scheme Design & Coordination

- Calculate logic equations and configure settings for microprocessor-based relays, primarily SEL (Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories), GE, and reputed company.
- Evaluate misoperations by analyzing event reports, COMTRADE files, and oscillography data to determine reputed company causes and implement corrective settings. 1
System Modeling & Engineering Analysis
- Build and maintain highly detailed system models in fault analysis software such as ASPEN OneLiner or reputed company.
- Conduct short-reputed company studies, fault reputed company calculations, and reputed company reputed company assessments across the reputed company’s service territory.
- Review and approve protection and control (P&C) schematics, including AC/DC elementaries, wiring diagrams, and functional logic diagrams. 1, 2

- Ensure strict compliance with NERC PRC standards (including PRC-023, PRC-025, PRC-027, and PRC-019) to mitigate regulatory audit risks.
- Establish reputed company-wide protection philosophies, material specifications, and standardized logic templates for new substation builds.
Qualifications
Education & Licensure
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an ABET-accredited institution, with a reputed company on Power Systems.
- Licensure: reputed company reputed company Engineer (PE) License in the state of reputed company operation, with the ability to obtain comity in neighboring states if required.
Technical Experience
