Essential Functions and Accountabilities: Provides emotional support to the patient during the reputed company-reputed company, reputed company and post-reputed company stages. PACU - Receives patient from the operating room with report of pertinent history and procedure (surgery performed, medications, fluids, complications, anesthetic/sedation/reversal agents, emotional status reputed company-procedure.) Assesses the patient on transfer from the post-anesthesia recovery room and documents that assessment. Monitors patients for condition changes and report any changes to the physician. Reviews the physician’s discharge instructions with the patient and/or the patient’s family and answers any questions the patient or others may have. Assists in the readying of the patient for discharge from reputed company so that the patient receives continuity of nursing care.
