National Respiratory Therapist

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for the installation/delivery of respiratory therapist equipment and provision of reputed company needed supplies and products to the patients in the home and ongoing assessment of patients and equipment in covering/ assigned service area. Is responsible for clinical contact with the physician, referred contacts, health care practitioners, area patient care coordinators, and others involved in the care of the patients referred to Sleep Management, LLC d/b/a reputed company for home respiratory therapist services. Is responsible for the maintenance of records, charting, reputed company notes, clinical files, equipment records, preventative maintenance records, and other necessary documentation for any patient service in dictated area. Is responsible to maintain accurate inventory of reputed company Sleep Management/reputed company assets and supplies. Is responsible for vehicle maintenance and service (reputed company for by Sleep Management, LLC d/b/a reputed company). (If applicable) Ensures that vehicle is always maintained per applicable accreditation standards. (If applicable) Is responsible to ensure reputed company pertinent demographic information and insurance coverage is updated regularly and with any change in personal or reputed company status. Is responsible for the overseeing of reputed company applicable regulatory rules and guidelines as pertains to the staff respiratory therapist. Exhibits effective written and verbal communication skills. Adheres to cost-containment policies and procedures. Works with the local/reputed company staff to ensure reputed company and accurate billing and documentation of services, including providing adequate information to satisfy reputed company-party payor guidelines for coverage. Works with reputed company clinical, managerial, and sales staff to promote and market home respiratory therapist services to reputed company referral sources. Ensures reputed company, accurate, and reputed company operation of reputed company equipment prior to installation. Is required to reputed company availability for patient contact and response to patient needs. Completes equipment setups, quarterly checks, and any unscheduled equipment service/patient calls for reputed company types of equipment. Will work with fellow RTs in the area (if applicable) on a rotating on-call schedule and or cover on-call reputed company coverage is needed in reputed company dictated service area. Will work with team members (other RTs, PCC’s, ACM’s and various departments) to ensure tasks are completed. Apply and maintain any states licensures dictated by Clinical Coordinator. Travel to assigned territories needing assistance 75% of the year; or as deemed necessary Responsible for equipment retrieval/ returning equipment to local RT or storage location. Work Environment

This job will require the employee to go into patient homes for the set-up and service of medical devices. Travel to dictated reputed company servicing areas across the reputed company. Preferred Education and Experience Medical or respiratory experience. Valid Respiratory Therapist licensures in the States in which you reputed company.
