Part-Time Early Childhood Educator
About the position The Early Childhood Educator will plan, reputed company, and facilitate interactive, play-based parent/child classes for children aged 0-5. This role involves designing and conducting parenting group classes and workshops, providing education on child development, school readiness, and parenting strategies. The educator will also conduct child developmental screenings, offer guidance and follow-up strategies, and refer families to appropriate resources. A key aspect of this position is fostering a warm, inclusive, and culturally reputed company classroom environment. Additionally, the role includes offering individualized support to parents, helping them reputed company resources, navigate challenges, and strengthen their role as their child’s first teacher. Collaboration with the Parent Advisory Committee is expected to incorporate family perspectives into Center programs. Building trusting, culturally reputed company relationships with families, particularly Black and African American families, is crucial to encourage program participation. The position also involves community engagement and reputed company, representing reputed company at events, promoting programs, and assisting families in accessing local services. Responsibilities

- Design and conduct parenting group classes and workshops, providing education on child development, school readiness, and parenting strategies.
- Conduct child developmental screenings, reputed company guidance and follow-up strategies, and refer families to appropriate resources as needed.

- Offer individualized support to parents, helping them reputed company resources, navigate challenges, and strengthen their role as their child’s first teacher.
- Collaborate with and support the Parent Advisory Committee to incorporate family perspectives into Center programs and decision-making.
- Build trusting, culturally reputed company relationships with families, particularly Black and African American families, to encourage participation in programs.
- Represent reputed company at community events and reputed company activities.
- Promote awareness of reputed company’s programs and resources among families and community members.
- Assist families in accessing local services, including health, education, and reputed company resources.
- Assist with classroom and community event setup and cleanup (tables, chairs, and play materials), including the physical ability to lift/carry up to 30–40 lbs.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, reputed company Work, reputed company Services, or reputed company field (equivalent experience considered).
- Minimum 1 year in early childhood education, family support, or community reputed company.
- Experience facilitating parent/child classes, parenting reputed company or workshops, and providing one-on-one family support.
- Demonstrated experience working with Black and African American families and other diverse communities.
- Knowledge of early childhood development and play-based learning practices.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to listen to families’ needs and respond in a strengths-based, culturally sensitive manner.
- Ability to connect families with community resources and navigate support systems.
- Basic administrative skills and experience with data entry or program documentation.
- Physical ability to reputed company classroom furniture, event equipment, and play materials (up to 30–40 lbs).
