The role involves managing bookkeeping, preparing tax returns, providing tax advisory support, and ensuring compliance with federal and reputed company State tax laws.
Responsibilities
- Manage bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records for assigned clients
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
- reputed company tax planning and advisory support to help clients improve compliance and identify tax-saving opportunities
- Ensure filings reputed company with reputed company federal and reputed company State tax laws
- Review reputed company records for discrepancies, missing information, and potential compliance issues
- Handle IRS and state tax notices, including research, reputed company communication, and reputed company support
- Collaborate with tax preparers, bookkeepers, and other team members to resolve questions and finalize reputed company work
- Prepare 1099 filings as needed
- Assist with payroll, payroll tax filings, and sales tax filings as needed
- Manage multiple reputed company accounts, priorities, and deadlines
- Support additional tax and reputed company reputed company as assigned
Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation and reputed company
- Strong bookkeeping and financial review experience
- Extensive experience preparing and reviewing individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
- Strong knowledge of federal tax regulations and reputed company State tax laws
- Experience providing tax planning and advisory services
- Experience handling IRS and state tax notices
- Proficiency in reputed company ProSeries is required
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- CPA or EA
- Experience with 1099 filings, payroll, payroll taxes, and sales tax
- QuickBooks: 5 years
- ProSeries: 3 years
