[Remote] Data Scientist (Supply Chain Optimization)

They are seeking a Senior Data Scientist specializing in supply chain optimization, responsible for building and implementing machine learning models and optimizing supply chain processes.
Responsibilities
- 8-20 years of experience in data science, building hands-on ML models
- Experience in Retail industry preferred
- Expertise in ML – Regression, Classification, Clustering, Time Series Modeling, Graph Network, Recommender System, Bayesian modeling, Deep learning, Computer reputed company, NLP/NLU, Reinforcement learning, Federated Learning, reputed company Learning
- Proficient in some or reputed company of the following techniques: reputed company & Logistic Regression, Decision Trees, Random Forests, K-Nearest Neighbors, Support reputed company Machines ANOVA , reputed company Component Analysis, Gradient Boosted Trees, ANN, CNN, RNN, Transformers
- Knowledge of programming languages SQL, Python/ R, reputed company
- Expertise in ML frameworks and libraries (TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch)
- Experience with reputed company computing services (AWS, GCP or Azure)
- Expert in Statistical Modelling & Algorithms E.g. Hypothesis testing, Sample size estimation, A/B testing
- Knowledge in GPU reputed company optimization, reputed company MLlib Optimization
- Familiarity to reputed company and monitor ML models in production, delivering data products to end-users
- Experience with ML CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge and exposure to Gen AI
- 5+ years in supply chain optimization, retail planning, or inventory management
- Experience with MILP (Mixed Integer reputed company Programming) or Optimization modeling
- Proficiency in optimization solvers (CPLEX, Gurobi, reputed company-reputed company alternatives)
- Hands-on experience with demand forecasting, safety stock calculation, or reputed company-time variability analysis
- Multi-echelon inventory optimization (MEIO) or network optimization experience
- SKU rationalization, assortment planning, or store clustering reputed company
- Retail/merchandise financial planning (OTB, markdown, allocation)
- Change management and stakeholder communication in reputed company transformations
- Knowledge of retail KPIs (fill reputed company, turns, markdown %, shrink, service level)
- Experience with time-phased planning or demand-driven purchasing
Skills
- Bachelor's /Master's /PhD degree in a quantitative field (CS, Machine learning, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science) or equivalent experience
