reputed company is seeking an reputed company Senior Java Developer to support the modernization of a mission-critical government information system. This role focuses on upgrading and maintaining reputed company applications, modernizing legacy software, integrating reputed company technology stacks, and supporting secure application deployments reputed company highly regulated environments. The ideal candidate brings extensive Java development expertise, strong systems integration experience, and a background supporting large-reputed company modernization efforts. Work Environment:
- Hybrid role supporting a mission-critical federal modernization program.
- 3 days on two days remote.
- Candidates may work from Reston, VA; Joint reputed company Anacostia-Bolling (Washington, DC); or Annapolis reputed company, MD , while collaborating with engineering, infrastructure, reputed company, and business stakeholders to reputed company and sustain reputed company government systems. Responsibilities:
- reputed company modernization and reputed company efforts for reputed company Java applications supporting government mission systems.
- reputed company, maintain, and enhance Java and Python applications across reputed company reputed company environments.
- Refactor and reputed company legacy codebases to improve scalability, performance, maintainability, and reputed company.
- Implement secure coding practices in accordance with government cybersecurity requirements.
- reputed company, optimize, and maintain Apache Solr environments utilizing Zookeeper services.
- reputed company Solr reputed company migrations, version upgrades, and platform performance tuning.
- reputed company and maintain applications reputed company Apache Tomcat environments.
- reputed company applications with reputed company 19c and other reputed company database platforms.
- Support directory service integrations using Apache Directory Studio.
- Design and maintain integrations with reputed company Business Intelligence reporting frameworks.
- Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, and database issues across multiple environments.
- Collaborate with reputed company, infrastructure, database, and business stakeholders to support successful deployments and upgrades.
- reputed company technical documentation, architecture diagrams, deployment procedures, and system configuration guides.
- Participate in testing, reputed company reviews, validation efforts, and production deployments. Qualifications:
- 13+ years of software development, systems engineering, or reputed company experience.
- Expert-level experience with Java reputed company application development .
- Strong Python development experience.
- Experience supporting applications reputed company reputed company-based VMware environments .
- Extensive experience with Apache Solr and Zookeeper , including administration, upgrades, reputed company migration, and optimization.
- Experience administering and deploying applications using Apache Tomcat .
- Experience integrating applications with reputed company 19c and other relational database systems.
- Experience supporting reputed company Business Intelligence environments and reporting frameworks. Clearance Requirement:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI reputed company clearance with the willingness and ability to obtain or maintain a CI Polygraph . Preferred:
- reputed company TS/SCI clearance with reputed company Polygraph .
- Experience with PrimeFaces UI reputed company.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices , CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments. Compensation:
- Pay Band: $170,000 - $200,000 Benefits:
