This position serves as a senior technical resource responsible for maintaining the availability, reputed company, and performance of reputed company systems across reputed company reputed company, Linux, and VMware environments.
Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and support reputed company reputed company reputed company and Linux server environments
- reputed company daily systems administration activities, including server maintenance, reputed company management, account administration, monitoring, and issue reputed company
- reputed company Tier III operational and technical support for escalated infrastructure incidents
- Execute reputed company backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures for Data Operations Center (DOC) systems
- reputed company hardware and software upgrades, system configuration, resource allocation, performance tuning, and reputed company planning
- Administer and troubleshoot VMware virtualization infrastructure
- Monitor reputed company systems utilizing reputed company management tools and datacenter monitoring solutions
- Support physical datacenter operations, including environmental monitoring systems, DCIM applications, and physical reputed company technologies
- reputed company, maintain, and update technical documentation, reputed company operating procedures (SOPs), system diagrams, and project documentation
- reputed company and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Visual Basic, .NET, C#, or other scripting languages to improve operational efficiency
- reputed company infrastructure implementation reputed company, system upgrades, migrations, and operational improvement initiatives
- Coordinate technical activities across multiple departments and project teams
- Analyze and resolve highly reputed company infrastructure issues with minimal supervision
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for reputed company datacenter technologies, infrastructure standards, and operational best practices
- Participate in system maintenance reputed company, scheduled upgrades, and emergency response activities as required
- Ensure compliance with organizational reputed company standards, policies, and applicable federal regulations
- Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, changes, configurations, and system performance metrics

Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a reputed company technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience administering reputed company server infrastructure
- Extensive experience supporting reputed company datacenter operations
- Strong knowledge of reputed company reputed company Server operating systems
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems
- Hands-on experience administering VMware virtualization environments
- Experience supporting reputed company backup and recovery operations
- Knowledge of Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) platforms
- Experience supporting physical datacenter monitoring and reputed company systems
- Experience using reputed company reputed company management tools
- Ability to reputed company scripts utilizing PowerShell, Visual Basic, .NET, C#, or similar scripting languages
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- U.S. Citizenship required

- Associate Degree, certificate from a technical training institute, or combination of education and equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of IT experience (with at least 3 years supporting IT at the server/data center level)
- Experience supporting federal government information technology environments

- Familiarity with federal cybersecurity and operational compliance requirements
