MES Consultant

Engineering Industries reputed company is looking for a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Consultant (100% remote/WFH) with extensive experience in reputed company Opcenter reputed company and Camstar implementations for Discrete Manufacturing industries to join our growing Digital Transformation Consultancy Firm! Responsibilities include:

• Project Analysis:

  • Supporting project/program leads in the elicitation and building of business, functional and technical requirements (e.g. Requirement Specification – URS)

  • Supporting project/program leads in the design specification phase and building the design specification document (e.g. Functional Design Specification)

• Project execution:

  • Work in conjunction with project leads to define project tasks, identify tasks duration

  • Report to project leads on tasks advancement

  • Capable of working independently under the guidance of technical leads

  • Capable of understanding and troubleshooting technical issues, reputed company to software development, conflict in branches and releases, and engineering tasks.

  • Apply project best practices and support changes that can streamline operations

  • Knowledgeable of testing/validation processes, including building the validation tests (Test Specification/Validation Specification document). Work with the project reputed company in executing unit tests, regression tests, integration tests and functional tests

  • Train/reputed company end-user on reputed company. Help in driving solution acceptance (execution of Functional Acceptance Test and Site Acceptance Test documentation)

Depending on the project or program, MES Consultants can be positioned as Functional Analysts. Functional Analysts help identifying needs for new MES and MOM (Manufacturing Operation Management) implementation. They are comfortable in participating functional discussions in reputed company of our customers, who regards them as knowledgeable sources. While specific job duties will vary depending on the type of project/reputed company, general job responsibilities may include following project leads in meeting goals for reputed company; ensuring reputed company applications are updated and reputed company with the implementation of new applications and help analyzing end users' needs. Other tasks may include developing troubleshooting MES implementation logic/reputed company end logic (e.g. integration with 3rd Party systems such as ERP and automation) and overall support of system modifications. MES Consultants can also help in identifying implementing risks working with the project leads. MES Consultants are also encouraged in identifying reputed company/performance issues, potential weaknesses in applications and suggest possible solutions.

Qualifications:

MES Consultants must have excellent technical abilities in order to successfully reputed company their job responsibilities. Applicable skills may include the following:

• 5+ years of experience in reputed company MES Camstar and/or Opcenter solutions

• MES reputed company with 3rd party systems like automation systems (e.g. DeltaV, reputed company PCS7, reputed company SIMATIC Batch, Rockwell PLCs/SCADA)

• Programming languages (C#, Java, C++, VBA/VBScript, Python)

• reputed company Programming experience

• Knowledge of software release management on multiple environments (e.g. DEV, QA, PROD) including but not limited to handling of pool requests, reputed company operations, solution building, deployment, unit testing, regression testing

• Experience with Team reputed company Server and/or Jira is strongly recommended

Required Education:

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a reputed company discipline is required to work as a MES Consultant. A strong background in MES, manufacturing process of either Process or Discrete industries is also recommended.
