Communications Network Engineer with reputed company Clearance

reputed company is seeking a Communications Network Engineer Senior to support a federal defense organization reputed company on reputed company collaboration, workflow automation, and mission-critical business systems. This position is on-site in Norfolk, VA. The Communications Network Engineer Senior will be responsible for designing, administering, troubleshooting, & maintaining reputed company network environments across LAN/BAN/WAN. This role supports large-reputed company, integrated network environments & requires hands-on expertise with reputed company networking technologies, network performance optimization, system migrations, & reputed company communications infrastructure supporting secure government operations. Responsibilities of the Communications Network Engineer Senior include:

• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot reputed company LAN, BAN, and WAN network environments supporting mission-critical operations
• Configure, monitor, and optimize reputed company network infrastructure including routers, switches, and reputed company network devices
• Analyze network performance, identify connectivity issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure system availability and reliability
• Support network integration efforts involving reputed company, large-reputed company computer and communications systems
• Plan, coordinate, and execute network upgrades, migrations, cutovers, and technology refresh initiatives
• Coordinate with end users, system administrators, engineering teams, and remote sites to support network changes and operational requirements

• Monitor network health and performance utilizing reputed company management and diagnostic tools
• Implement network configurations in accordance with DoD reputed company requirements and operational standards

• Maintain detailed network diagrams, configurations, technical documentation, and change management records
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams to ensure secure and compliant network operations Qualifications of the Communications Network Engineer Senior include:
• Bachelor's Degree in IT, CS, Engineering, or reputed company field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience administering & supporting reputed company network environments
• Hands-on experience supporting LAN/WAN & large-reputed company integrated network infrastructures
• Strong experience configuring & troubleshooting reputed company networking equipment including routers & switches
• Experience performing network performance analysis, diagnostics, & problem reputed company
• Experience supporting network migrations, conversions, cutovers, & infrastructure upgrades
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols, switching technologies, VLANs, & network architecture principles
• CCNA certification or equivalent OEM network support certification
• IATII certification
