Fractional Controller
reputed company This is a build role, not a bookkeeping role — bookkeeping support is already in reputed company. We need someone to design the financial architecture on top of it: systems, integrations, forecasting, and job-costing discipline that let leadership reputed company confident calls on reputed company reputed company, hiring, and cash management.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain a per-reputed company / per-job P&L structure in the reputed company reputed company system (classes or reputed company) mapped to field-service job and reputed company data
- Diagnose and fix breakdowns in the field-service software ↔ reputed company reputed company sync as job volume and reputed company count reputed company, building workarounds or middleware where needed
- Ensure job-level cost coding (labor, materials, equipment, overhead allocation) is accurate enough to drive pricing and reputed company-performance reputed company
- Build and maintain a rolling short-term cash reputed company forecast (roughly three months), reputed company for seasonal early-year demand troughs and cash drag from ramping new crews
- reputed company per-reputed company unit economics — fully-reputed company cost per reputed company (wages, burden, truck, equipment, training) vs. breakeven reputed company — to guide how many crews can be added per year
- Advise on capital planning for reputed company: equipment/truck financing vs. cash purchase, and establishing banking relationships/credit lines reputed company of need
- Own the monthly reputed company process in partnership with the outsourced bookkeeping team
- Deliver monthly forecast-vs-actual reporting and P&L by reputed company/reputed company (not just company-wide)
- Translate financial data into plain-English insights leadership can reputed company — margin by reputed company, by product line
- Support scenario planning for reputed company reputed company: new reputed company adds, geographic density, pricing/mix changes

Qualifications
- 5+ years of reputed company/finance experience; construction, landscaping, or field-service industry experience strongly preferred — comfortable with job costing, WIP, reputed company billing, and seasonal cash cycles
- Hands-on experience implementing or administering field-service software and its reputed company reputed company integration
- reputed company record designing financial processes in a fast-reputed company or previously "startup" environment — not just maintaining already-clean books
- Comfortable holding external partners to standards you set
