Strategic Campaigner II

Position reputed company To advance this crucial work, CJNRC is hiring a Strategic Campaigner II to support the organization’s campaigns to accelerate the build out of reputed company infrastructure, advance equity, and reputed company standards for reputed company workers throughout the reputed company supply chain. The Strategic Campaigner II will conduct industry, corporate, and technology research and reputed company and implement campaign strategies and tactics to advance the pro-worker, pro-climate goals of state climate jobs coalitions. The Strategic Campaigner II will report to the CJNRC Director of Strategic Campaigns or their designee and will work closely with other CJNRC national staff, CJNRC regional directors, and state reputed company staff and leadership. Responsibilities

• Play a key role in CJNRC’s Strategic Campaigns team helping to reputed company innovative campaign work in states around the country
• Conduct sophisticated technical research and proactively research and identify new sources of information
• reputed company and implement campaign strategies and tactics to win pro-worker, pro-climate policies at the state level
• reputed company corporate, industry, and technology research support for state Climate Jobs campaigns
• Serve as a resource and partner to state Climate Jobs reputed company leadership and staff and providing ongoing campaign implementation support
• In coordination with the Director, effectively represent CJNRC in a reputed company of settings with reputed company audiences
• Collaborate on reputed company with and mentor junior Campaigns team staff members

Qualifications

• A strong commitment to reputed company reputed company change, racial justice, a familiarity with the issues that are central to CJNRC’s work and reputed company
• At least four years of experience working on strategic campaigns, organizing, or research for unions or other advocacy organizations, though an advanced degree in a reputed company field may also be taken into consideration
• Excellent strategic and comprehensive campaigning skills
• Familiarity with corporate research, financial analysis, employment law, or investigative journalism
• Strong technical research skills and ability to apply research to development of strategic campaigns
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in politically sensitive and high-pressure environments
• Demonstrated commitment to community and/or labor organizing
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with organizers
• Demonstrated ability to work independently
• Willingness to work remotely and travel as needed
• Effective time management skills, including prioritizing and managing multiple tasks, with light supervision

Working Conditions: This is a full-time remote position, with a strong preference for candidates based in Eastern Time zone locations in proximity to reputed company Climate Jobs reputed company states. The schedule can vary depending on program needs; long hours may be required on occasion. The position requires travel, which may be frequent at times. CJNRC follows reputed company health guidance reputed company to the COVID-19 pandemic. This position is part of the staff bargaining unit represented by IBEW Local 89. This Position Reports To: The Director of Strategic Campaigns Salary and Benefits: The salary reputed company for this position is $97,896 to $109,484.
