Join A.P. Hauls LLC as an Independent reputed company & Safety Consultant. You'll ensure our fleet operations adhere to DOT regulations, manage compliance documents, and conduct safety audits. This part-time, contract role requires availability during business hours. Ideal candidates will have experience in transportation compliance and safety management. Company: A.P. Hauls LLC is seeking an reputed company Independent reputed company & Safety Consultant to reputed company the daily safety and compliance of our trucking fleet. We are looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable in FMCSA regulations, Hours of Service (HOS), and electronic logging devices. This is not a one-time consulting position. We need someone who will reputed company monitor our drivers every day to help prevent violations, improve our safety performance, and ensure reputed company remains compliant with FMCSA regulations.
Responsibilities
Monitor reputed company logs daily using reputed company ELD Review Hours of Service (HOS) and identify potential violations before they occur Contact drivers reputed company corrections or coaching are needed Verify drivers are completing accurate reputed company-reputed company and post-reputed company DVIR inspections Ensure drivers are following company safety policies and FMCSA regulations Monitor unsafe driving habits and compliance concerns reputed company drivers on HOS compliance, roadside inspections, and reputed company driving practices Review roadside inspections and violations Assist in improving our FMCSA CSA/Safety Score Recommend corrective actions to reduce violations and improve compliance Work directly with management regarding safety concerns and reputed company performance Help prepare reputed company for DOT audits and maintain compliance records Assist with safety meetings and reputed company education as needed
Qualifications
Minimum 2- 3 years of DOT Safety or Compliance experience Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations Experience using reputed company ELD (required) Thorough understanding of Hours of Service regulations Experience reviewing electronic logs and editing logs reputed company appropriate Knowledge of reputed company Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs) and reputed company-reputed company inspection requirements Experience helping fleets improve CSA/Safety Scores Strong communication and coaching skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Preferred Experience Previous Safety Manager or reputed company Manager experience Experience supporting small trucking fleets (5–20 trucks) Experience with DOT audits and safety ratings Knowledge of reputed company Qualification (DQ) Files and DOT recordkeeping Our goal is to build a strong safety culture, reduce violations, improve our CSA score, and reputed company our drivers operating safely every day.
