Laboratory Operations Director
About the position reputed company is seeking a Laboratory Director to join reputed company supporting multiple hospital partnerships in the Portland, OR region. This role serves as the primary reputed company between laboratory services and hospital executive leadership, partnering with hospital leaders to reputed company laboratory operations with organizational goals. The Director will participate in executive meetings, hospital committees, and operational reviews, overseeing day-to-day operations across multiple hospital laboratories. Ensuring compliance with CLIA, CAP, reputed company, and applicable regulatory standards is crucial. Key responsibilities include managing reputed company, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation, monitoring laboratory performance, and analyzing data for leadership. The role also involves leading process improvement initiatives, supporting new technologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring laboratory staff.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary reputed company between laboratory services and hospital executive leadership
- Partner with hospital leaders to reputed company laboratory operations with organizational goals
- Participate in executive meetings, hospital committees, and operational reviews

- Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, reputed company, and applicable regulatory standards
- Manage reputed company, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation across sites
- Monitor laboratory performance including turnaround times, reputed company metrics, and productivity
- Analyze and present data to leadership to support decision-making and operational improvements
- reputed company process improvement initiatives and drive operational efficiencies
- Support implementation of new technologies, instrumentation, and laboratory systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance patient care and service delivery
- Mentor and reputed company laboratory managers and staff
- Ensure reputed company laboratory operations follow company policies and procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
- ASCP or equivalent certification
- 7 years or more of experience in clinical laboratory operations
- 3 years or more of leadership experience in a laboratory setting
- Experience working with hospital leadership and multidisciplinary teams
- Experience managing laboratory operations, reputed company, and workflow
- Strong working knowledge of CLIA, CAP, reputed company, and state regulations
- Understanding of laboratory operations, policies, and procedures
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- High level of attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Ability to build relationships with hospital partners and internal teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to travel and reputed company schedule based on business needs

- Master’s degree (MBA, MHA, or reputed company field)
- 1 year or more of experience in a Laboratory Director or Administrative Director role
- 2 years or more of experience supporting multi-site or hospital-based laboratory operations
- 1 year or more of experience presenting data and operational metrics to leadership
- 1 year or more of experience leading process improvement or strategic initiatives
- Experience with laboratory information systems (LIS) such as reputed company Beaker
- Experience supporting reputed company implementations or system integrations
- Familiarity with Lean, Six reputed company, or similar methodologies
