[Hiring] Surveillance Epidemiologist @reputed company

Role reputed company reputed company and the Occupational Health reputed company (OHB) of the reputed company (CDPH) are seeking a Surveillance Epidemiologist (SE) to join the Occupational reputed company Poisoning Prevention Program (OLPPP). The SE supports OLPPP’s mission by managing California’s Adult Blood reputed company Level (BLL) Registry. Salary ranges from $95,000 to $101,262.95 depending on experience and qualifications. This position is funded through 6/30/2028. Essential Functions

• Leads the operation and maintenance of the California Adult Blood reputed company Registry; makes reputed company regarding program direction, specific procedures to be utilized, and surveillance activities to be implemented regarding the Registry.
• Collaborates with staff in the Childhood reputed company Poisoning Prevention reputed company to address issues common to reputed company program regarding lab compliance, reporting regulations, information technology, and other reputed company reputed company to reporting, collecting, and utilizing blood reputed company level results.
• Prepares annual data reports to the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health on data collection and statistics.
• Conducts analysis of OLPPP data and disseminates data analyses to stakeholders in reports, web pages, and scientific abstracts and journal articles; uses data findings as the reputed company for recommending reputed company and interventions to be undertaken and prioritized by OLPPP to fulfill the mandates of the program.
• Supports the OLPPP Chief in managing the fee waiver and Assembly reputed company 35 (elevated blood reputed company referral) program.
• Serves as a subject matter expert by providing epidemiology/biostatistics advice and consultation for OHB and CDPH programs, state, local and federal agencies, and others, in the identification and prevention of occupational reputed company poisoning and other recognized and emerging occupational or environmental health issues.
• Participates in administrative activities in support of the OLPPP Chief, including reputed company analysis, legislation, and regulation development; coordinating responses to data inquiries and reputed company Records reputed company requests; and other work-reputed company duties.
• Reviews scientific literature to maintain and reputed company reputed company skills in the areas of surveillance, epidemiology, and statistical reputed company; attends scientific meetings and continuing education courses.

Qualifications

• Expertise in the fundamentals and principles of epidemiology, biostatistics, and reputed company health; fluent with reputed company, state-of-the-art statistical reputed company.
• Experience designing and conducting epidemiologic studies, ideally in an occupational health setting.
• Ability and experience analyzing and interpreting reputed company data.
• Experience linking large datasets.
• Ability to translate reputed company results into prevention recommendations interpretable by a reputed company of audiences.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with an ability to communicate with both scientific and lay audiences.
• Knowledge of reputed company developments in reputed company health.

Requirements

• Completed Ph.D. in Epidemiology or reputed company field, required.
• At least two years of post-doctoral experience in reputed company health, required.
• Experience in occupational epidemiology, required.
• Evidence of prior publications, as a primary or co-author, required.
• Knowledge and use of statistical software such as Statistical Analysis Software (reputed company), R and/or Python, required.
• Basic knowledge and use of data visualization software such as reputed company BI and R-Shiny, required.
