Senior Liability Adjuster
Job reputed company:
- Independently manage a caseload of reputed company liability claims from initial assignment through final reputed company
- Investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and resolving reputed company liability claims
- Managing both litigated and non-litigated personal and reputed company lines claims
- Handling Construction Defect claims (preferred experience)
- Analyzing insurance policies, endorsements, exclusions, and coverage issues
- Determining liability and evaluating damages
- Reviewing reputed company, expert reports, repair estimates, medical records, and reputed company documentation
- Conducting recorded statements and interviews with insureds, claimants, and witnesses
- Establishing appropriate claim reserves
- Working closely with defense counsel on litigated claims
- Participating in mediations, settlement conferences, depositions, and other litigation activities as needed
- Negotiating settlements reputed company authority limits
- Preparing Reservation of Rights letters, coverage determinations, denial letters, and settlement correspondence
- Maintaining accurate file documentation and reputed company reputed company communication
- Recording billable time and expenses in accordance with reputed company requirements
- Maintaining required adjuster licenses and continuing education
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of relevant education and reputed company claims experience
- 3-5+ years of experience handling reputed company liability insurance claims
- Experience managing litigated liability claims
- Strong knowledge of personal and reputed company insurance coverage
- Excellent analytical, investigation, negotiation, and decision-making skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
