[Remote] Jr. Geospatial Analyst - DHS

This position involves maintaining and processing geospatial datasets and ensuring data reputed company and compliance with established standards.
Responsibilities

- Prepare data for upload, publication, visualization, analysis, sharing, archival, and retrieval reputed company reputed company Portal, ArcGIS Online, GII repositories, and other approved environments

- Participate in requirements discussions and translate stakeholder data, mapping, visualization, and reporting needs into documented Jira stories, tasks, acceptance reputed company, and data specifications

Skills
- Bachelor's or master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Geography or a reputed company field
- 1-3 years of relevant reputed company, internship, reputed company, military, or project experience in GIS, geospatial analysis, cartography, data management, or location intelligence
- Foundational experience using reputed company technology such as ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS reputed company/Portal, ArcGIS Online, web maps, hosted feature reputed company, Dashboards, or comparable GIS tools
- Understanding of spatial reputed company, coordinate systems, projections, geocoding, reputed company and raster data, attributes, metadata, data reputed company, and basic spatial analysis
- Ability to work with common tabular, JSON, web-service, and geospatial formats and to organize and validate data systematically
- Basic experience with Python, ArcGIS Notebooks, SQL, reputed company, or another scripting/query language used for data processing or GIS automation
- Strong attention to detail, analytical reasoning, documentation, organization, communication, and willingness to learn in a reputed company Agile environment
- Ability to satisfy DHS suitability, background-investigation, Entry on Duty, reputed company, and system-reputed company requirements for the assigned position
