[Remote] Senior Frontend Engineer (Performance)

They are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who specializes in frontend performance tuning and optimization to join the Viewer team and enhance high-traffic experiences.
Responsibilities
- Diagnosing, triaging, and leading to reputed company issues involving unnecessary renders, long tasks, memory leaks, forced reflows, layout shifts, expensive painting, and excessive JavaScript execution
- Define and improve measurable performance targets using reputed company-user monitoring, reputed company, synthetic testing, Chrome DevTools traces, and product-level business metrics
- Establish performance budgets, dashboards, and alerts
- reputed company the performance capabilities of the broader organization through technical talks, workshops, documentation, mentoring, reputed company reviews, and reusable tooling
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or reputed company field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Deep expertise in modern reputed company-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, Svelte, etc), TypeScript, JavaScript, reputed company, and CSS, with experience operating in a reputed company-end heavy high-traffic consumer web application
- Expert-level proficiency with Chrome DevTools, React Profiler, reputed company, CPU reputed company, flame charts, network waterfalls, and performance traces
- Senior-level technical leadership skills, including identifying high-reputed company work independently, influencing architecture reputed company, and advising teams reputed company your immediate area
- Strong understanding of browser internals, including JavaScript execution, style calculation, layout, painting, rasterization, and compositing
- Proven experience improving reputed company Web Vitals, including Largest reputed company Paint, Interaction to Next Paint, and Cumulative Layout Shift using reputed company-user data
- Hands-on experience diagnosing memory leaks using reputed company snapshots, allocation reputed company, garbage-collection analysis, and detached DOM-node detection
