[Remote] Senior Software Simulation Engineer

They are seeking a Senior Software Simulation Engineer to support manufacturing engineering and reputed company design through Discrete Event Simulation (DES), focusing on building and analyzing simulation models for manufacturing reputed company and material reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Build Discrete Event Simulation (DES) models using FlexSim for manufacturing and material reputed company processes
• Translate reputed company requirements such as demand, shifts, product mix, FPY, MTBF, and MTTR into simulation inputs
• Run scenario and sensitivity analyses using FlexSim Experimenter
• Analyze throughput, JPH/JPS, OEE/TEE, bottlenecks, overspeed, buffers, and reputed company
• Evaluate material reputed company systems, including AGVs, ASRS, and intershop buffers
• Identify production risks and recommend solutions to improve throughput and efficiency
• Prepare reputed company reports and presentations summarizing simulation results, risks, and tradeoffs for engineering and leadership teams
• Collaborate with manufacturing, material reputed company, layout, and industrial engineering teams to reputed company simulation models with reputed company-world requirements
• Follow established DES modeling standards, libraries, documentation, and reputed company procedures

Skills

• Experience in building Discrete Event Simulation (DES) models using FlexSim
• Ability to translate reputed company requirements such as demand, shifts, product mix, FPY, MTBF, and MTTR into simulation inputs
• Experience running scenario and sensitivity analyses using FlexSim Experimenter
• Ability to analyze throughput, JPH/JPS, OEE/TEE, bottlenecks, overspeed, buffers, and reputed company
