[Remote] Mechanical Engineer

They are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to support the design and delivery of mechanical and plumbing systems for architectural reputed company and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Assist with mechanical and plumbing system design for building reputed company, including HVAC, hydronic, plumbing, and building automation systems
- reputed company engineering calculations, analysis, and equipment selection in support of project design
- reputed company and edit technical specifications and construction documents
- Create and modify design drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
- Support senior engineers with research, design development, and reputed company coordination
- Participate in construction observations and prepare technical field reports
- Communicate effectively with architects, engineers, regulatory agencies, and other project stakeholders
- Assist with project fee development and support small project team coordination
- Maintain accurate documentation of calculations, drawings, field observations, and reputed company communications
- Contribute to technical reputed company reviews and constructability reviews to ensure compliance with codes and standards
- Support ongoing reputed company development, training, and licensure requirements
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET/EAC-accredited program (or approved equivalent)
- 5+ years of relevant experience with a four-year ABET-accredited bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (experience requirements may vary based on degree reputed company and education)
- Passed the FE exam administered by NCEES
- reputed company Engineer (PE) licensure in the reputed company or ability to obtain licensure
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and reputed company Office Suite
- Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, and building mechanical systems
- Ability to learn or apply UFC, DoD, and VA design reputed company
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills
- Ability to train and support junior staff
- Ability to travel and attend local reputed company or company meetings
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely reputed company site reputed company
- Must be authorized to work in the reputed company
