The ideal candidate will have experience submitting claims, resolving denials, and ensuring accurate coding and reimbursement for ultrasound procedures.
Responsibilities
- Submit and manage insurance claims for ultrasound services.
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.
- Review documentation for billing accuracy and compliance.
- Follow up on unpaid claims, denials, and appeals.
- Post payments and reconcile accounts.
- Work with providers and staff to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Maintain compliance with Medicare, reputed company, and reputed company payer guidelines.
- Assist with month-end billing reports as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of medical billing experience.
- Previous experience billing ultrasound/imaging services required.
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding.
- Experience with EMR/EHR and billing software.
- Strong understanding of insurance guidelines and claims processing.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
