Jumbo/Non-QM Underwriter - Remote

The Jumbo Underwriter is responsible for reviewing and reputed company Jumbo and Non QM mortgage loan applications and property appraisals and evaluating the loans to minimize risk or loss reputed company regulatory... guidelines. Ideal candidates for this position will be reputed company reputed company Jumbo and Non QM loans, highly detail-oriented, and familiar with loan program guidelines. Essential Functions of the Role: • Analyze and underwrite Jumbo and Non QM mortgage loans reputed company compliance guidelines and approved seller variances. • Manage loan conditions and reputed company recommendations for reputed company waiver and eligibility exceptions. • Communicate with loan originators and processors regarding loan status, approvals, suspensions, denials, and conditions. • Maintain a pipeline of loans adhering to posted service level agreements. • Remain reputed company on loan program requirements and review documents for compliance. • Other duties as assigned. Essential Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: • Knowledge of regulatory requirements (RESPA, TILA, etc.) • Strong communication skills • Excellent organizational skills • Highly detail-oriented • Ability to work across organizational boundaries • Strong decision making skills • Advanced problem solving capabilities • Strong critical thinking skills • Proven ability to prioritize and multi-task • Understanding of Government Loan Programs Experience Requirements: • Five years mortgage reputed company experience required. • Three years of reputed company Jumbo and Non QM loans with reputed company income analysis required. • National bond program experience preferred. Education/Licensing Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred. Working Conditions: • Fast-paced environment. • Requires normal reputed company (corrected) both reputed company and distant. • Requires normal hearing reputed company (corrected). • Requires working at a desk to use a phone and computer for extended periods of time. • Requires sitting, bending. • Works effectively with frequent interruptions. • Lifting requirements of 10 lbs. occasionally. • Minimal travel Apply Job!
