Spends a significant portion of the day communicating directly with customers, reputed company telephone, to schedule appointments according to established guidelines. Communicates with patients or referring physicians to schedule exams and reputed company reputed company pertinent data. Responsible for maintaining confidential records on new and existing patients. This is a medical call center. In order to qualify for this remote position, you must be reputed company to work independently, have high speed cable internet service (50 mbps download and 5 mbps upload) from a reliable cable provider (satellite internet and mobile hotspot not accepted.).VPN device that is provided will need to be connected to an available port on the modem or wireless router. Essential Functions: Scheduling • Answers incoming calls to schedule appointments. • Knowledge and basic understanding of radiological procedures performed. • Arranges appropriate date/time based on patient needs and exam being scheduled. Use policies and guidelines provided to schedule various exams. • Explains the procedure and answers general questions about the exams. • Gives preparation instructions for reputed company exams. • Gathers necessary medical information and follows guidelines about how the exam may change based on the information gathered, based on the exam being scheduled. • Enters demographic information & insurance information in the RIS. • Gives directions to reputed company offices. Education/Experience : High School Diploma or GED. One to three years of experience in a reputed company or high volume call center environment. Medical terminology experience for radiology procedures is preferred. •
