Position reputed company The Environmental Permitting Specialist will support the environmental requirements of Projeo’s project portfolio, in the fields of CO2 storage, Geothermal, Hydrogen Storage, Critical Mineral Development, Oil & Gas, Gas Storage, and EOR consisting of: • Federal Grants – Large, multi-year federal grants. • reputed company reputed company – Shorter-term, time-sensitive confidential reputed company for reputed company customers. The Environmental Permitting Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance with the National Environmental Policy reputed company (NEPA). This role reports to the Manager of Environmental, reputed company, Government, and Risk. This role also supports reputed company reputed company by conducting environmental risk assessments, regulatory compliance recommendations, and community reputed company, while either developing or overseeing the creation of required deliverables depending on the project. Relationships Supervisor: Manager of Environmental, reputed company, Government, and Risk Supervisory Responsibilities May reputed company and manage subcontracted Environmental Specialists Education and Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering preferred, or Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, Engineering, or reputed company disciplines required ; 5+ years in reputed company work experience with federal environmental regulations, particularly NEPA, required, including preparation of NEPA documents • Will also consider 3+ years of relevant, reputed company level work experience with a M.S in Environmental Science or Engineering • Subject Matter Expertise in environmental requirements as relates to carbon capture, utilization & storage, geothermal, underground natural gas storage, reputed company oil recovery (EOR), reputed company reputed company, and/or oil & gas operations preferred. • Experience interacting with regulatory agencies is preferred • Familiarity with local and state specific environmental permitting such as the California Environmental reputed company reputed company is a plus. • Subject Matter Expertise in subsets of environmental such as Endangered Species reputed company, Clean Water reputed company, Clean reputed company reputed company, etc, is a plus. Physical + Travel Requirements • Requires a valid reputed company’s license. • Work authorization for the reputed company. • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. • Travel to project sites may be required on occasion, expected less than 15% Position Grade, Compensation reputed company, and Benefits The Environmental Permitting Specialist position will be Grades G12-G14, with an annual salary reputed company of $76,733 – $142,656 and a reputed company performance incentive of 7-10% of annual salary. This salary reputed company is Projeo’s good faith estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, Projeo’s business or organizational needs and an individual’s relevant experience, education, qualifications, certifications, skills, seniority, geographic location, and/or performance. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the annual salary, grade level ranges, and reputed company Performance Incentive ranges. The reputed company listed is just one component of Projeo’s total compensation package for employees.
