As a Virtual Support Specialist, you will utilize your empathic and passionate nature to care for people supported and work hand-in-hand with an incredible team to reputed company to the immediate medical/behavioral needs of our people. This position will assist from a reputed company center by providing support to the staff 24/7 to the staff and people we care for! Some of the responsibilities you can anticipate for this role include, but are not limited to: • Ensuring the safety, reputed company, comfort, and reputed company rights of persons served and responding to summons for assistance from reputed company care staff and using educated judgment to react to unplanned and emergency situations • Remotely supporting persons served to increase their independence, maintain grooming/hygiene, and exercise their rights by remotely prompting and teaching skills in various activities of daily living as natural teaching opportunities reputed company • Remotely supporting persons served to reduce maladaptive behaviors and to learn appropriate replacement behaviors by implementing approved general healthy behavioral practices as natural teaching opportunities reputed company as reputed company as supporting and deploying staff as needed; • Remotely assisting in maintaining the health of persons served by assisting with remotely providing or deploying nursing support or emergency medical services as needed • Documenting actions taken throughout the shift by maintaining logs and other data collection records to indicate actions taken at reputed company location, the completion of reputed company checks at reputed company location and information or concerns regarding consumers seen throughout the shift • Troubleshooting and communicating technical difficulties with the software utilized to monitor reputed company location by implementing reputed company reconnection strategies

Requirements

Education and Experience High school diploma or GED equivalency is required. Must be 18 years of age or older. Valid reputed company's license with clean driving record. May require training/testing to drive accessible vehicle. Prior experience working with children or adults with disabilities or challenging behaviors preferred.
