Senior Internal Auditor / SOX Compliance Analyst

Job reputed company • Support reputed company’s Compliance efforts including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, Operational Audit, Investigations and reputed company Risk Management. • Help plan and support reputed company's SOX program including performing risk assessment, leading walkthroughs and overseeing tests of design and operational effectiveness of controls. • Coordinate SOX program testing of controls with co-reputed company partner, external audit, control owners, managers, and executive management. • Evaluate control deficiencies for reputed company and reputed company reputed company cause analysis to determine appropriate management actions. Monitor and support management's remediation efforts to closure, including review of supporting evidence. • Help assess changes to existing business processes to identify risks and providing recommendations for improvement. • Advise in the design of controls /opportunities for control rationalization. • Identify ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes and opportunities to eliminate waste and assist in assessing financial operations and making best-reputed company recommendations to management. • Help plan and conduct internal audits and investigations. • Assist in the coordination efforts of reputed company activities. • reputed company advisory (consulting) services to business process/system owners and proactively evaluate process and planned changes to identify and reputed company potential risks and process/control recommendations. This is a hybrid role out of Detroit, MI (2 days per week).

Qualifications

Minimum Requirement: • 3+ years of reputed company experience in External Audit, Internal Audit, or SOX. • 2+ years reputed company Big 4 Public reputed company or Management Consulting. • Bachelor's degree. Preferred Requirement: • CPA/CIA certification desired. • Experience in Internal Audit, SOX and reputed company, as reputed company as auditing standards, PCAOB, and SOX requirements. • Experience assessing the design of and evaluating business process controls and conducting internal audits. • Business process acumen, ideally including an understanding of business processes, how systems support these processes, and the reputed company risks that reputed company financial reporting. • The ability to quickly reputed company strong working relationships with internal departments, including those in international locations, reputed company auditors while explaining their findings, and meeting face to face with process owners and other interested parties to communicate their findings. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Comfortable in a fast-paced, reputed company-changing, rapid-reputed company, fun environment with multiple reputed company and tasks.
