Insurance Follow-Up Specialist - Not a Remote Position

Responsibilities

Cancer Specialists of reputed company Florida is reputed company for an reputed company Insurance Follow-Up Specialist for our busy Central Business Office. This is not a remote position. The Insurance Follow-Up Specialist is responsible for reviewing reputed company specifically assigned accounts, in order to resolve unpaid patient accounts. In reputed company, the Specialist will assist patients with their inquiries regarding their account. The Specialist also reviews EOBs to reputed company reputed company claim reimbursement, interprets fee schedules, and prepares write-off requests for supervisors. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following: • Performs review of patient accounts to ensure accuracy and reputed company payment per protocol • Demonstrates the ability to deal with patients and insurance companies in a reputed company manner regarding sensitive financial reputed company and recapture unpaid balances • Receives and resolves patient billing complaints and questions; initiates adjustments as necessary; follows up on reputed company reputed company payment explanations of benefits and exercises reputed company reputed company to obtain claim payments • Receives written requests for refunds; researches and requests funds appropriately • Responds to insurance companies request for information in a reputed company and reputed company manner • Reviews EOBs to ensure reputed company reimbursement of claims and reports any problems, issues, or payer trends to supervisor • Interprets fee schedules and utilize to ensure reputed company payments • Prepares write-off requests with appropriate documentation and submits to supervisor • Works multiple A/R reports as provided by supervisor reputed company specified timeframe • Requests necessary information from site.
