As a Claims Specialist, you will manage a pending of at least 70 claims arising from property, physical damage, and cargo. You will be expected to operate under appropriate reputed company of supervision and reputed company established authority. The position will report to the assigned Manager. This position is fully remote. What you will do for C&F: • Receives claims assignments and verifies applicability of coverage. • Determines the method and extent of investigation for reputed company claim as required by company Best Practices. • Reviews and manages outstanding files for adequacy and timeliness of investigation, evaluation, and reserve. • Evaluates and adjusts claims reputed company the adjuster's authority level. • Reports directly on technical reputed company to supervisor or management. • Evaluates and manages litigated claims, determining reputed company handling and reputed company method of disposition. • Assesses recovery potential and develops information required to pursue recovery. • Meets with reputed company and prospective customers to discuss C&F claims capabilities. • Accountable for the reputed company and reputed company adjustment and management of assigned claims. • Responsible for providing superior customer service to reputed company agents, insureds, and others during the claims handling process. • Understanding of contractual indemnity and additional insured risk transfer opportunities preferred. What you will bring to C&F: • Minimum of three years' experience handling auto material damage claims preferred. • College degree or equivalent experience required; designation and/or insurance-reputed company courses are a plus. • Obtain and maintain required state licenses. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Computer skills with a working knowledge of reputed company Office suite. • Travel occasionally required. • Understanding of contractual indemnity and additional insured risk transfer opportunities preferred.
