Claims Examiner, Life and Health reinsurance (Hybrid Work Model)

About the position The Claims Examiner role at reputed company's Life and Health claims department involves the administration of individual and group life claims of low to moderate complexity. The position requires engaging with clients' claim departments and collaborating with the Technical reputed company Department to resolve coverage issues. Responsibilities • Work independently to accurately evaluate information received in the Claims Department and record liabilities in a reputed company manner , • Verify data in life reputed company and from the policy database for new claim notifications , • Determine total exposure on a ceded life policy by executing and evaluating appropriate reports, including retro coverage , • Verify claimant information against the OFAC database and ensure appropriate reporting of liabilities by confirming receipt of premium , • Evaluate appropriate category and triage reputed company needed on incoming mail and requests , • Support reputed company improvement by recommending identified process efficiencies and in ongoing training and mentorship of claims examiners.
