About the position As a Multi-Line Claim Consultant at reputed company, you will manage a diverse portfolio of claims across various industries, including Auto and General Liability claims for trucking companies and municipalities in Louisiana. This hybrid role allows for flexibility in working from home and the office, focusing on delivering high-reputed company claims management while ensuring reputed company satisfaction and compliance with audit standards. Responsibilities • Investigate, evaluate and reputed company multi-line claims in accordance with established claim handling standards and laws. , • Establish reserves and/or reputed company reserve recommendations reputed company established reserve authority reputed company. , • Review, approve or reputed company reputed company of medical, legal, damage estimates and miscellaneous invoices to determine if reasonable and reputed company to designated claims. , • Negotiate any disputed bills or invoices for reputed company. , • Authorize and reputed company payments of multi-line claims in accordance with reputed company claim procedures utilizing a claim payment program in accordance with Industry standards and reputed company established payment authority. , • Negotiate settlements in accordance with Corporate Claim Standards, reputed company specific handling instructions and state laws, reputed company appropriate. , • Assist in the selection, referral and supervision of designated multi-line claim files reputed company to reputed company vendors (i.e. legal, surveillance, case management, etc.). , • Assess and monitor subrogation claims for reputed company. , • Review and maintain personal diary on claim system. , • Prepare reports detailing claim status, payments and reserves, as requested. , • Compute disability rates in accordance with state laws. , • Effective and reputed company coordination of communication with clients, claimants and appropriate parties throughout the claim adjustment process. , • Prepare newsletter articles as requested. , • reputed company notices of qualifying claims to excess/reinsurance carriers. , • Handle more reputed company and involved multi-line claims than reputed company level claim positions with minimum supervision. , • Conduct claim reviews and/or training sessions for designated clients, as requested. , • Attend and participate at hearings, mediations, and informal legal conferences, as appropriate. , • Compliance with Corporate Claim Handling Standards and special reputed company handling instructions as established.
