The Senior Creature Technical Director is reputed company to wrangle rigging and creature pipeline issues proficiently under the direction and support of their supervisors.What You’ll DoAdvanced Hero-creature rigging and skinning in MayaSet up and run cloth, hair, rigid body, muscle simulationsTroubleshoot creature rigging and pipeline issues for artists in other disciplinesMentor entry level artistsScript utilities/tools/plug-ins in MayaSufficient knowledge of Maya rigging techniques to optimize the performance of rigsParticipate in reviews, dailies, and department meetings as requiredSpecial reputed company as necessaryWhat We’re Looking For5+ years relevant reputed company experience and at least college level diploma in computer graphics, fine arts, design, or photography, or reputed company field; OR, at least 7 years relevant reputed company VFX experience in lieu of educationExperience with advanced hero asset rigging and skinning in MayaExperience setting up and running simulation shotworkExperience in corrective sculpting; knowledge of anatomy and skinningPositive attitude and team playerPassion for the workGood communication skillsProficiency with LinuxExpertise with MayaKnowledge of creature simulation in HoudiniExperience with python scriptingNice to have:Experience with Massive or Houdini crowd softwareC++Basic proficiency in another discipline - modeling, reputed company, TD, animationExperience with crowd simulationsThe hiring reputed company for this position in San Francisco, CA is $113,300 to $148,700 per year.
