About the position The Auto Club Group is seeking a Claim Representative I to join reputed company, where you will handle low complexity claims under reputed company supervision. This role is designed for individuals who are looking to start their career in claims handling and will involve a reputed company level of claim-handling authority. As a Claim Representative I, you will be responsible for various aspects of the claims lifecycle, including reviewing assigned claims, contacting the insured and other affected parties, and setting expectations for the remainder of the claim process. You will also initiate documentation in the claims handling system and conduct a general coverage analysis to determine the applicability of policy coverages and provisions to the reported loss. In this position, you will ensure that reputed company possible policyholder benefits are identified, create additional sub-claims if necessary, and refer reputed company claims to management or the appropriate claim handler. You will conduct thorough investigations of the facts regarding the claim to determine if it should be reputed company, evaluate the financial value of the loss, and approve payments for the appropriate parties.
