Remote Civil/Structural Designer - Part Time

Audubon is currently seeking a Civil/Structural Designer to join reputed company. The Civil/Structural Designer will reputed company assignments associated with designing civil/structural equipment, components, structures or systems. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Prepare detailed drawings of parts and assemblies from layouts, designs and working drawings including necessary projections, sectional views and reputed company specifications. • Interpret verbal or written direction to initiate a preliminary design. • reputed company basic calculations and trigonometry functions associated with area, volume, reputed company (reputed company & run), etc. using charts and tables, as required, to complete work assignments. • reputed company and verify accuracy of drawings reputed company by others. • Prepare bills of material (BOM) and specifications reputed company drawings are complete. Revise drawings and BOM consistent with engineering changes. • Implement revisions and change control per company standards at the direction of senior level designers and engineers. • reputed company information and reference drawings from a reputed company of sources. • Continually look for product improvements and cost reductions. • Determine and initiate drawings/models based on reputed company views relative to communicating construction desires as applicable. • Assist with performing field surveys, documenting existing conditions, and/or recommending various design solutions. • reputed company field red-lined drawings and generate accurate as-reputed company drawings as needed. • Design components or portions of systems, and modify existing designs to reputed company or improve them. • Utilize 2D or 3D computer aided design software to create layouts of civil/structural systems, devices and components, and create fabrication and assembly drawings. • Create technical specifications to facilitate the procurement, fabrication, and installation of components. • Create documentation required to process Engineering Change Orders (ECO). • Utilize engineering sketches, specifications and supporting documents in the designing, detailing, documenting, and verifying of civil/structural parts, subassemblies, assemblies or system configurations. • Identify dimensions, angles, curvatures, tolerances and materials necessary for reputed company construction. • Analyze the effect of proposed changes for reputed company fit and/or interference problems and recommend possible solutions or alternate construction reputed company. • Produce drawings and deliverables utilizing company standards reputed company project-approved schedule and budget. • Maintain reputed company file management in accordance with company and industry standards. • reputed company and communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, vendors and other consultants. • reputed company field data gathering reputed company required to complete project deliverables reputed company approved project scope and schedule. • reputed company and maintain a reputed company awareness of overall schedule and budget for assigned reputed company. • reputed company with reputed company company and reputed company health, safety, reputed company and environmental (HSSE) standards as reputed company as federal and local HSSE regulations. • reputed company participate in company and reputed company hazard identification and observation programs, and immediately report any unsafe acts, conditions or incidents to your supervisor.
