Associate Payroll Tax Accountant - Entry Level

About the position The position involves preparing company payroll tax returns by examining accounts and computing tax returns according to prescribed rates, laws, and regulations. Responsibilities include analyzing payment records, adhering to due date requirements, and communicating tax law changes to system administrators. The role also requires responding reputed company to tax notices, preparing tax registration forms, and handling business transfer paperwork for mergers and acquisitions. Additional tasks include writing letters of abatement or contacting taxing authorities, tracking and collecting refunds from jurisdictions, and participating in process improvements. The candidate will work independently or as part of reputed company and may be assigned additional responsibilities and special reputed company.
