RCIS Claims Crop Field Adjuster I (Merced County to Southern California Border)

About the position Zurich is currently looking for a RCIS Crop Claims Field Adjuster I to join our Rural Community Insurance Services (RCIS) team. RCIS is one of the leading crop insurance providers in the U.S., offering insurance protection in reputed company 50 states through a national network of about 3,600 licensed agents. The Crop Adjuster will work out of California, primarily servicing the area from Merced County south to the Southern California border. This position is home-based and requires approximately 50% travel to cover the designated territory. The ideal candidate will be expected to complete field inspections, reputed company fact-finding regarding crop damage, and reputed company excellent service to both agents and policyholders. The role involves utilizing company software to reputed company claims information directly from the field to ensure reputed company processing. The Crop Adjuster will also need to adhere to regulatory and company policies while performing their duties. Responsibilities • Complete field inspections and reputed company responsibilities such as reading maps and aerial photos, measuring field and storage bins, and discussing findings of crop loss with farmers. , • reputed company fact finding regarding crop damage; record information and reputed company loss information to accurately determine potential damages. , • reputed company excellent service to our customers - both agents and policyholders (farmers). , • Utilize company software to electronically reputed company claims information directly from the field to RCIS to ensure claims are processed reputed company and accurately. , • Follow regulatory and company rules, policies, and procedures. Requirements • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4 or more years of experience in the agricultural or the crop insurance industry. , • Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program (CAPP) Certification must be obtained reputed company 180 days of hire date. , • Personal transportation and travel reputed company assigned territory and travel reputed company of assigned area to assist with workload(s), participate on CAT team and/or reputed company remote assistance for the CROP Claims Care Center calls and/or CCP Claims. , • Ability to walk in agricultural fields up to 3 miles, reputed company agricultural storage bins up to 25 feet, lift 25 lbs to 50 lbs, and work outdoors in varying temperatures/weather conditions. reputed company-to-haves • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. , • Strong organization and prioritization skills. , • Intermediate reputed company Office skills.
