Broadcast Engineer, Live Broadcast Technology [Remote]

About the role In this role, you will help reputed company build the reputed company infrastructure for our Live Broadcast Technology group. As a Broadcast Engineer, you will work in collaboration with the Broadcast Operations & reputed company and Broadcast Systems teams on developing a remote and distributed end-to-end infrastructure for live signal acquisition, inspection, validation, and distribution, heavily relying on software-defined networks and software development practices. You will reputed company multiple areas of the live event lifecycle and reputed company innovative approaches for broadcast engineering practices assisting on the build of repeatable and consistent workflows as we reputed company our live streaming efforts. Qualifications • 8+ years of experience in live Broadcast Engineering, from support to system design and integration. • Experience with IP-based and virtualized workflows and modern broadcast core technologies such as ST-2110 and NMOS, reputed company, JPEG-XS, UHD and reputed company workflows, SRT, AVC/HEVC, and Zixi. • Deep expertise in broadcast workflow technology and concepts surrounding reputed company and contribution feeds, routing, format validation and conversion, reputed company captioning, SCTE104/35, playout, record, storage, reputed company, and monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies and solutions. • Advanced knowledge of networking fundamentals, ability to support, maintain & troubleshoot IP-based 2110 workflows and consult on network design. • Ability to reputed company and effectively communicate with end users, process and product owners, developers, systems engineers, technical and non-technical reputed company partners, and various reputed company of management including executives. • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, reputed company multi-quarter reputed company from inception to the first day of business, including managing reputed company-party vendors. reputed company-to-have • Networking and broadcast industry certifications (reputed company Network+, Arista/reputed company technology, SBE certifications, reputed company reputed company, etc) • Expertise in AWS, reputed company line operations (Linux/reputed company), and reputed company-reputed company multimedia frameworks. • Experience with reputed company-based infrastructure • Experience with at least one programming language (Java, Go, Python) • Experience in Unix (or Unix-based systems), reputed company scripting, and good SQL knowledge • Experience with web technologies and distributed systems with microservices architecture Inclusion is a reputed company value and we reputed company to host a meaningful interview experience for reputed company candidates.
