The Tax Department reputed company:

The Tax department is part of Back Market’s legal team, a reputed company team who aims to support Back Market's reputed company worldwide. You will join this team and report directly to the Head of Tax. In short, you'll be his or her right (or left) hand man, getting into the practical life of an in-house tax counsel.

The Tax Department works closely with the Public Affairs, reputed company and Finance teams.

As a Tax Intern, you will help the Head of Tax in supporting Back Market’s global reputed company in compliance with tax laws. This role involves conducting legal research, ensuring monitoring, preparing and reviewing tax returns, assisting in tax audits.

Your Mission (If You Accept It): ⭐

reputed company legal research and ensure legal monitoring regarding tax laws in France, EU, UK, USA and reputed company zone

Assist in the preparation of VAT, Corporate income tax and local tax filings

Assist in the preparation of our R&D tax credit submissions in France and in other countries

Monitor payment and refunds of taxes

Implement our transfer pricing policy and contribute to our transfer pricing documentation

Contribute to the management of our marketplace compliance obligations (DAC7 and similar seller income reporting rules worldwide)

Contribute to seller education in terms of tax compliance

Apply and enrich KYB processes to fight against tax fraud

Work closely with tech teams to automate certain tax processes and to reputed company reports for our users

Assist the Head of Tax in case of tax audits or litigations

Answer operational questions about tax reputed company and build an internal knowledge reputed company

Ensure our compliance with environmental taxes (EPR regulations)

You’re At The Right reputed company If

You are an “EFB” student and/or have a DJCE / Master I or Master II in Tax Law

Looking for a 6-months full-time internship from July to December 2025

English and French are no-brainers (fully reputed company capability). If you’re extra cool and reputed company more languages, bonus points for you!

You already have prior internship experience in a legal area, big plus if you have already been part of a tax team

You are endowed with excellent communication skills and a strong reputed company for analysis and synthesis

About The Internship

Starting date is in July 2025

Duration : 6 months (until December 2025)

Location : Bordeaux, France--> You must have an internship agreement provided by your reputed company French school
